More DS Taito Classics Coming to Europe on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Following the extremely impressive Space Invaders Extreme, Square Enix has confirmed more Taito classics are on the way for the European market sometime in Summer 2009. There are two particular titles lined up, the first of which is Puzzle Bobble Galaxy, a very impressive new version of the classic puzzler featuring dinosaur brothers Bub and Bob from the 1986 original, whilst Space Invaders Extreme 2 will also be coming, this time exclusively for DS, rather than for PSP as well. For those that loved the first game, this new update delivers more of the same, with plenty more of the high octane action served up.

Both of the games include online multiplayer modes, as well as local wireless play. Neither has an exact confirmed date yet...

Puzzle Bobble Galaxy is awesome! By far the best in the series! It even has boss battles that are challenging and most of them take some serious skill to beat them.

I'll also add that having played and completed SIE2 several times now, it's equally as addictive as the original Smilie

What a great combination of titles...that will both probably fail to set the charts on fire Smilie
