Square Enix has revealed more details of its forthcoming Kingdom Hearts DS project, 358/2 Days. The first piece of news is of a character called Xigbar, who is the number two in Organization XIII, somewhat of a tease and uses a Gun Arrow weapon as well as elemental space. He also has a keen eye for the goings-on of other Organization members.
Next up is news of an event at Agrabah, a city covered in sand, where Disney's Genie is out wandering around, leaving Aladdin with the laborious task of fixing any problems without the aid of useful wishes.
Following on from this is a gameplay tidbit, the 'Panel System', whereby items, magic, abilities and levels are managed via different panels. Before a mission commences, players can put different panels into designated slots. There are more than 200 panels featured in the game, including 'Ability', 'Item', 'Magic' and 'Level-Up'. Another type is the Link Panel that can be added and form a 'Link Area' on your screen. When standard panels are added to this area, special effects can be created, such as increasing the number of times a spell can be used, providing defensive capabilities against particular elements or simply upping the character's level.
