Silent Hill Wii Soundtrack Samples on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Some gorgeous sound samples have leaked from Konami's Wii rethink of the original Silent Hill, Shattered
Memories.

The game follows a similar storyline to the original, with protagonist Harry Mason searching for his daughter, Cheryl in the mysterious town of Silent Hill.

Silent Hill has always been great in the sound department. Smilie I hope the original theme is still in it.

I'm looking forward to some fantastic collabs between Yamaoka and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, and hoping this game comes with the soundtrack, like 3 did. Listening to these samples now, they're very good. Exactly what I'd expect.

She does the female vocals for all of the songs in the Silent Hill series which feature them (i.e. Room of Angels, Letter - From the Lost Days, I Want Love, You're Not Here etc.) I absolutely love the songs that Yamaoka composes with her, and I'm hoping there will be some new ones in this game.
