Despite selling lower than many had hoped, it seems that Sky Crawlers could be heading to Australia. Based on the animated movie adaptation of a set of novels, Namco Bandai's Ace Combat team created a Wii air combat game that matched the quality of the team's flagship series. However, when it failed to set the charts on fire in Japan, many presumed it would never make it abroad, especially due to the license attached to it.
Thankfully now it seems that the official distributor for Namco Bandai's games, Atari, is indeed set to localise Sky Crawlers, if listings at various Australian retailers are to be believed. If true, the PAL version could be launching as soon as June this year, hopefully with a European release not far behind.
Between this, the confirmation of Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World and talk of Fragile being considered for Europe, it looks like the days of Europe/Australia missing out on Namco Bandai could well be coming to an end...
