EA Sports to Bundle MotionPlus as Extra on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

EA has confirmed that future sports titles for Wii will be bundled with MotionPlus as an optional extra.

Those who haven't gotten the attachment can buy it as part of compatible EA Sports games when they ship later this year - a limited time offer to try and get as many of the units in homes as possible. It'll go on sale for an RRP of £49.99 in the UK, $59.99 in North America.

This exclusive and limited-time offer is exciting news for sports fans who want to enhance their Wii experience for a great value with the new Wii MotionPlus right at launch with both Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 and EA SPORTS Grand Slam Tennis. The functionality of the Wii MotionPlus will help us deliver the authentic, true-to-life sports motion that will redefine the sports experience on the Wii.

Interestingly enough it looks as if Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 10 will be using the new "Pay and Play" system for some of its online features, going by the new box art:

The device will come bundled with both Tiger 10 and Grand Slam Tennis in Europe, jb.

20 or 25 I reckon Stuart...If the later, it makes these bundles more attractive.

Yeah, that would definately make the games look more attractive. Even Wii Sports Resort would look more interesting to buy at that price point.

Tiger Woods looks like he has been stabbed in the back by Masahiro Sakurai... SAKKKUUUURAAAAAI!!!!

But yh, the bundles will most likely be good deals, tho motion plus doesnt interest me much
