Originally developed for the PlayStation 2 by THQ's Volition studio, this new version of the same fame, Red Faction II, will feature numerous enhancements and improvements.

The Gamecube version, being redeveloped by THQ's Cranky Pants Games studio, will feature:

enhanced lighting specific to the Gamecube hardware.
