LEGO Harry Potter & Indy 2 Coming? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

An entry on a developer's online CV has apparently revealed that two new LEGO titles based on popular licenses are coming. It was originally noticed that an updated Curriculum Vitae stated work was underway on both the game many thought would eventually turn up anyway, LEGO Harry Potter, as well as the inevitable LEGO Indiana Jones 2, which will be sub-titled 'The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'.

UK developer Traveller's Tales has apparently confirmed the information is correct, but stated that since they have not been officially announced no details can be revealed. The games are said to be very early in development and the mention of them in the CV has now been removed.

That doesn't sound like a good idea, to have Crystal Skull as a standalone game. I mean in terms of game length. The first LEGO Indy was the first three films, so either they're gonna draw this game out as long as possible, maybe add new scenarios not in the film, or this'll be a short game.

Not really, just means it will have to be a more continious scene-by-scene game, rather then a "best off" like star wars or the first indy game.

Of course though, not all film scenes are so suitable for conversion, so it might effect quality of the game.

Personaly I think Lego Harry Potter will be fantastic though.
I guess 2 games maybe? possibly 3? Fitting all in one game would be a bit too much ,imho

The lego games franchise is simple but fun. I hope they do harry potter well, it will sell well whatever anyway.
I can imagine it being very similar to harry potter and the philosophers stone on PS1, albeit, lego! ^^ Just the simple gamplay mechanics in that made it a charm to play and all the colectables to get extra stuff such as powerful flipendo!
