Nintendo Dates Pikmin 2, Jungle Beat in Europe on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo's New Play Control! Line is set to expand in Europe with 2 new dates: the inevitable Pikmin 2 and Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat.

Olimar will be crash landing in the content this Easter, joined by his chum Louie, as the duo search for more treasure on Planet Pikmin. Want a hairier adventure? The original action/platformer Donkey Kong Jungle Beat returns with the Wii remote and nunchuck in mind, performing combos to earn high scoring banana points. Two additional stages and enemy types have been created for the release for an all new experience.

  • Pikmin 2 - April 24th 2009
  • Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat - Summer 2009

Hopefully we can keep using the bongos!

It requires great courage to look at oneself honestly, and forge one's own path.

So many games for my beloved Wii, and so few money to buy em, or toime to play them... I truly want to buy Pikmin 2 though.

I will be getting Pikmin 2 for sure, after the first game on Wii impressed me. I wont be getting DK:JB Wii, that seems like a inferior version given the fact the game was made for Bongo\'s. I do now have the original anyway.

No Wii Remote configuration could compete with the Bongo\'s.

The Play on Wii range only allow for Wii Remote controls.

Meh, I'll just hold out for Pikimin 3. There's really no point in buying a game I already have.
