No, people will complain. I can imagine some newspaper running smallish stories about how little Timmy can't get his game to work, just cause he bought it on holiday. Bad press costs money!
Earlier you mentioned how 'DSI-only retail games' will be region locked, but now you're agreeing with Superlink that they 'won't pull a GBC on us'. So, you don't think there's going to be any DSI-only retail games in the future then?
You replied to my sudden change question rather bluntly there, how does region locking reduce piracy? I'm not so sure. Unless, you were refering more to the automatic firmware updates that the new DS will no doubt receive now. But that's nothing to do with regions. The PSP has them and it's region free.
Why have imports become a major issue now?
Why, after near 20 years region-free portable gaming, and now that they have captured the stupidest audience ever, would they want to complicate things by introducing region locking!
