Adventure Island - First WiiWare Screens on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Hudson have resurrected the Adventure Island franchise with a brand new entry on Nintendo's WiiWare service.


The new entry in the long running franchise follows similar gameplay and visual elements, but adds additional mini-games designed for the Wii in mind and comes complete with online rankings system to show off your well-earned high scores.

I think it looks awful graphically. There's no style to the plain and dull looking characters and the backgrounds look messy and blurred. Smilie

I really think this would have benefited more as a 2D game as the 2.5D look as been implemented badly with this.

It IS rather hideous but then again this series always has been. The change with perspective to the skateboarding is reason enough to be galled.
