Mario Golf Swings onto Euro VC on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Dry away a rainy end to the working week by taking Mario and pals out on the golfing range in the N64 classic.

Europeans are getting some staggered releases, and this week is no exception. The updates this time round are Mario Golf (N64, 1000pts) and the Master System platforming hit Wonder Boy in Monsterland (MS, 500 pts).

Will you be adding either title to your virtual collection?

A nice game Mario Golf is, i remember playing it all those years ago, still have the cartridge. I recommend to those who haven't played it to try it out. The GC title is infinitely better though, but man that game is so huge that its not even funny, i still need to 100% complete everything...

Bowser. You Booz, you lose.

I loved Mario Golf on the 64. Awesome game. Especially in multi-player with the hilarious 'distracting' noises you could make on the C-Buttons. Many wasted afternoons on this one back in the day. Might give it a look on the VC.

Trying to think of a witty signature after 'Hacker-gate'...

I have Mario Golf for the GameBoy (can't remember if it was for the original or the Color), and that was the most frustraiting game ever. It was literally impossible to beat. There's no chance that anyone's beaten that. It made me want to rip my GameBoy in half, and I came pretty close a couple of times. Smilie

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

I beat Mario Tennis on GBC, so Golf couldn't have been much harder. They were in the same "series" afterall.

Awesome RPGs made by our lazy friends at Camelot. Smilie

The character models look horrid on the 64 version, Camelot didn't do a very good job at all. The game itself is solid like the GC version though.

Why is there DS screen shots below the news?
