TiimeSplitters 4 Cancelled Artwork on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Assets from what would have been a version of TimeSplitters 4 for Wii have leaked after problems with Free Radical.

According to Unseen 64, the game was in development alongside the bigger PS3/Xbox 360 brothers, but with a smaller team brought in to add some unique Wii-specific features.

With the Nottingham-based studio gone into administration, and the team downsized from 185 to 40, it's looking unlikely for TS4 to see a release.

Really hope someone else picks up where they left off, or at least steps in to help save the company/franchise. Would be a huge shame to see it killed off Smilie

It would be nice to see this one come to fruition but at any rate it gives a bit of insight into how Free Radical was constructing their 3D models. Smilie

Damn, it would've been great if this got carried on.

Aww what a shame this is. I enjoy my Timesplitters. Great fun. Especially the map editors.

Is it just me, or are a lot of games being "laid off" recently. What's going on? Smilie

The former top user was Keven! You'd probably give birth to yourself 1000 times over until you sprout wings to fly away into the fading sun, that or you'd just turn into a lesbian. Who knows @_@ - L, 12/06/09

I was deeply saddened when I heard this news, I was mega hyped for TS4, especially an inevitable mapmaker! If anyone else carried on, I bet it wudnt be half as good however.

My pictures wont appear so heres a smiley
