Red Faction For Wii Cancelled, Video, Art on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

A version of Red Faction was set to debut on Wii, but was cancelled due to the demise of Locomotive Games.

The exclusive game seems to be a ground-up project, bringing the third-person shooter to Wii. Dubbed BEAST, the game would have had some neat-looking environments, character models and the like. Early prototype footage and art has since emerged, and it's uncertain whether the game will be continued by another studio.

Looks like they were trying really hard too. Shame.

Man for an early proto it looks pretty darn good! Hope it can be salvaged!

They could've showed something off, or sold off the project.

Meh, looks shit.
