Nintendo of Australia is swapping discs for those who are affected by the Animal Crossing Wii to DS link-up.
The version down under had the unfortunate problem of being incompatible with the 2005 DS Animal Crossing and so data couldn't be transferred between the Wii and DS editions. According to Vooks a replacement disc will be sent out if consumers provide a Wii and game serial.
With the new version sent out players will need to restart their Wii adventure if sending in their retail copy.
