The latest Famitsu magazine has discussed a new features in the re-releases of GameCube hits Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin.
The Japanese weekly has talked a little more on Nintendo's plans to include refinements and improvements to their much loved last-generation games. For the now cult classic Pikmin, the game's saving setup has been tweaked to store day-by-day records, and players can resume from a selected day.
Mario Power tennis will include the already-announced Wii + nunchuck control and is devoid of GameCube controller support. In addition, according to the magazine, is the Wii-remote only feature - presumably like Wii sports, and we're hoping not relying on the remote's D-pad for movement.
Pikmin hits Japan on December 25th 2008, Mario Power Tennis follows on January 15. Both are priced at 3,800 yen.
