Nintendo Releases New Donkey Kong Jungle Beat Wii Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The first of the games to be released under the 'Play on Wii' label, Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat, is due on 11th December and to help promote the budget re-release of the GameCube classic from the team behind Super Mario Galaxy, Nintendo has released a new trailer that gives an in-depth look at just how the game looks, plays and how it will take full advantage of the new control system that utilises the Wii Remote and Nunchuk in place of the GameCube's bongos attachment.

Check out the video below:

The game is launching on 11th December, so will be able to take full advantage of the festive period, just as its GameCube original did when first released, and at just 3,800Yen (~£25) it should go down very well with consumers.

Yes, a truly amazing game. Love it to bits! Smilie

Nice port; controls seem simple enough - should be one to consider, but I hoped they\'d polish it up a bit visually.

£25 (most likely £19.99 over here) is just way too much!

yeah good game i brought this on release for the gcn but its abit on the short side, the controls look ok but for me the bongos made it slightly more fun and distinctly different. if you can find it with the bongos and are considering buying the game, the gcn version is more than worth a look

This looks pretty good, shame I missed the GC version with the bongos!! Smilie

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562
