Earthbound (Mother) Toys Available in Japan!

Nintendo & Coca-Cola Team Up...
...The Result? Mother Toys!


So far the GBA RPG compilation of Mother 1+2 - the old NES game and the US SNES title Earthbound - has exceeded 250,000 software units in Japan, thus categorising it as a success in the eyes of Nintendo. But, in order to keep the game's sales alive, the Japanese company has now teamed up with Coca-Cola and the result is definitely one worthy of some notice on the hallowed pages of C3. With every purchase of specific Coca-Cola products, one particular Mother toy is included completely free of charge! There are presently six different Mother toys in the range. Unfortunately the promotion is unlkely to make it across to the US or even Europe. But to placate those who may wish to scour eBay for one of these lovelies, below is an image of what to look for (click to enlarge the first picture):
