A recent snippet from NGamer magazine reveals that the Wii version of Sonic Unleashed won't have a 3D hub.
Sonic Unleashed is set to have a 3D overworld, much like the original Sonic Adventure's city to explore, but it's looking likethe Wii version maybe a little skimped out of these basic features.
The levels are accessed from a hub town area, which is just a static screen where you can talk to a few characters. The Xbox 360 version has a 3D hub world eo explore, and we're not sure why it couldn't be done on the Wii too.
That's true. If it could be done back in the days of Sega's very own Dreamcast, then surely it could be done to a similar level on the Wii?
In related news, the game's introductory CGI sequence (which presumably will be the same in all versions) looks pretty spiffy:
Do you feel a hub would add or detract from the gameplay? How do you like accessing levels - By a menu or exploring an overworld to find each stage?
