Let’s Tap – Debut TGS08 Gameplay Footage

By Jorge Ba-oh 16.10.2008

Fancy putting the cardboard packaging to good use? Thanks to Prope and Sega, gamers can tap tap tap their way through some quirky minigames!

Announced earlier this month, the two company’s collaborative project sees a completely unique way of using the Wii’s remote to move characters on screen. Instead of button mashing or waggling the plastic beast, you plonk it on the table and start to tap. Once the rhythm goes through your fingers, or toes, the vibrations send timing signals to control what’s happening on screen!

At TGS this year some folk managed to get some fingers-on time with the game, showing that simplicity really does provide some unique ways of playing games.
