Nintendo has finally confirmed that the third Phoenix Wright on DS from Capcom is heading to Europe next month:

Featuring all the favourite characters from the series, prepare to put those detective skills and that courtroom prowess to the test once again when Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations launches across Europe on 3rd October 2008.Ensuring justice for all, take on the role of defence lawyer Phoenix Wright in this fun adventure game as you set out to gain justice for your clients. Whether Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations is your first visit to the courtroom or a triumphant return as a fan of the series, expect the thrill of solving brand new cases as you seek out your evidence to clear your client's name in court. Using the Nintendo DS's Touch Screen and a keen eye for detail, scrutinise the crime scene and question all the quirky characters encountered to gather all the evidence you need before hitting the courtroom.
As an added treat in this new episode to the series, players won't only get to play as Phoenix Wright! Revealing elements of Phoenix's past through his mentor Mia Fey, step in to her shoes and head back in time to discover how she first encountered the plucky Phoenix before he even thought about becoming a lawyer. Get set to discover a whole new side to Phoenix Wright as his past is revealed! Fans that have followed the series will be pleased to encounter favourite characters, such as Maya Fey and Detective Gumshoe, once again as they complete Phoenix Wright's story and tie up all loose ends!
With each case composing of two phases, detective work followed by a trip to the courtroom, prepare for many twists and turns - especially from your witnesses! During your search of the various crime scenes, collect as many testimonies and as much evidence as possible in your court record to use when witnesses hits the stand. Even make use of the Magatama, a special item used to break Psyche Locks, to push the character to tell the truth. When you head into the courtroom, the witness may try and change their story. As soon as you spot something that doesn't quite add up in a testimony, you can stop them in their tracks by using the touch screen or shouting 'Objection!' into the Nintendo DS's microphone if you like to play more realistically. Challenge them with the correct evidence from your court record to discover what really happened and get to the bottom of the case.
