More Captain Rainbow Wii Details Emerge

By Adam Riley 07.08.2008 3

Following the recent trailer update for the Skip Ltd-developed Captain Rainbow on Wii, more details have now emerged. According to Famitsu magazine, the following new islanders will be included:

  • Takamaru
  • Devil from Devil World
  • Mabo from GiFTPiA
  • Famicom Soldier from Famicom Wars
  • Tracy from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
  • Tao from GiFTPiA
In addition to this, the game will be an action / adventure style with it being likened to Animal Crossing in places with players exploring Mimin Island to solve puzzles and help people. By helping others, players will earn "Kirarin", and if twenty are collected it then triggers an action sequence where the main character has to chase falling stars. For the action sections, the game changes to a side-scrolling viewpoint where enemies must be avoided and the goal is to chase down the falling stars whilst dodging past various evil shadows that if touched will drag you into various mini-games.

This game just sounds stranger and stranger by the day. Expect more details closer to the Japanese launch date later this month...

It WAS Crazy Tracy!

The sad thing is I think more people would remember her than they would Ness\' sister. At least people in Europe XD

EDIT: I hope this gets a release over here Smilie

She seemed pretty slutty

So is this like Smash Bros. in the sense that it's going to include characters from the Nintendo roster?
