Nintendo have reported a first-quarter profit rise of 34% due to their motion-controlled box of tricks comfortably nicking the crown from rivals Microsoft and Sony.
The Wii has stolen the market by a fair lead, thanks to a range of different games that span a multitude of audiences and tastes. Wii Fit, Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Bros Brawl have contributed to an ever-increasing number of consoles flying off the shelves.
