E308 Media | More Tales of Hearts DS Screens Revealed

Bandai Namco has released several new screenshots from its new Tales of RPG, 'Tales of Hearts', which blends 2D hand-drawn characters with luscious 3D backgrounds and offers players the chance to either watch full 3D CG video sequences or the usual 2D anime-style cut-scenes that are normally found in the long-running RPG franchise.

Looks great!

Indeed it does. I'm surprised they've gone for this approach, though, considering how gorgeous Tales of Innocence looked (easily on par with FFIV's DS remake). But hey, it's a different dev studio behind this, Team Destiny, so the changed isn't too shocking.

Lovely loooking game, I am going to snap up the new PSP game also when that comes out in the US. I am playing the first now Smilie

Why did the have to change the look of the game? It looks like a cartoon now...well at least it still looks pretty slick.

Looks different - but good different! Liking the blending of styles! Smilie CG looks top notch also.
