Wario Land Wii Rated for PAL Regions

Image for Wario Land Wii Rated for PAL RegionsWario's latest platforming antics see the porky anti-hero return to Wario Land with a new way of hording his blubber around using the Wii-remote to guide the chap around a gorgeous 2D world akin to the previous outings.

According to Siliconera, Wario Land Shake is due for release in Japan on July 24th 2008, and it seems that a PAL release will be around the corner with the Australian ratings board OFLC recently stamping their seal of approval on the game.

The game is set to be developed by a relatively new Japanese developer called 'Good Feel, Inc', whose CEO is Shigeharu Umezaki, who previously worked on Mystical Ninja at Konami before leaving the company a few years back.

Sources state the game is also apparently set to hit Europe not long after Super Smash Bros. Brawl, however a North American date has yet to be revealed. However, given Wario and his games' popularity over there, a quick release has to be a given.

Fantastic news! Smilie Interested to see how the guy behind the original Mystical Ninja games gets on with this 2D Wii outing. I certainly have high hopes...and if reports are true, then PAL gamers won't have to wait long for this!

Shigeharu Umezaki is Geoman Warrior\'s producer! Smilie. This game is going to be great, I can say that easily now. I love the SNES game, it\'s so weird and has crazy yet very cool ideas and that is poifect for Wario.

It\'s funny because when I first saw those tiny screens not long ago I immediately thought of Geoman because of the art style and the way Wario was jumping in one of the screens.

I have very high hopes for this, it\'s gone onto my most wanted list for Wii.

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! I've been anxiously awaiting the return to the Wario Land/Wario World series for, what seems like, forever. lol I'm surprised it's getting a release date in Japan so soon. This next installment looks like it's going to be great and I can't wait to find out more info.

*crosses fingers* Please include Waluigi as a playable character. Please include Waluigi as a playable character. Please include Waluigi...

Chance favors the prepared mind.

"The Shake Dimension?" Is that really a necessary subtitle? Hilarious!

I still reckon after the success of Mario & Luigi they should do a Wario & Waluigi RPG...

Really good news this game look quite good, but I'm not sure if I can buy this Brawl and Okami!!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562
