SEGA and Chunsoft appear to believe the Wii is the new home for their collection of Digital Novels, with two games being readied for Nintendo's latest home console. Not only is SEGA bringing Imabikisou: Kami Hen to Wii, an updated port of last year's moderate PlayStation 3 hit in Japan, but it also plans to release Chunsoft's new Wii exclusive novel, 428: The World Doesn't Change Even So, later this year.
First up is last year's horror effort, which is described as a 'Sound Novel'. The Wii edition will include new chapters not found in the PlayStation 3 edition, as well as noises that come from the Wii controller itself to scare players even more. This feature can be sampled at the game's official website. The story centres on a drug called 'Vision' that has been linked with numerous strange deaths. The two lead characters are attempting to escape the drug's curse and end up heading to a mysterious mansion that is thought to be where the solution to the issue is, and this is where they come across the 'Imabikisou', an unusual flower.
This port is due for release on 7th August in Japan and is highly unlikely to ever get a Western release. A video clip can be seen below:

As if that was not enough, Chunsoft's loyal fan-base is in for another treat with 428, the Wii exclusive Digital Novel that once again uses live action video clips throughout to progress the story. With just a '2008' date pencilled in, this intriguing title takes place in the Shibuya district of Tokyo where a mysterious event has recently occurred. 428 has players following the events from the perspective of leading characters Achi Endo and Shinya Kano, as well as some other currently unannounced main characters. More can be seen on the game's official website, whilst some 'screenshots' can be viewed in the media folder below. The first trailer can be seen below:
