It took a very long time! (I mean very...) but because of the change in the weather the has allowed me to start up again, one drawer is at its finish and the others will follow quickly. stay tuned!!!
Ive been absent a while due to a lot of stuff going on, Preparing items in the store being one of them. As promised Im giving cubed3 a first look And I sent over swapnote the progress
Custom game cartridge cases, they are stylish and cute and theres going to be plenty despite the low stock.
With a 200$ investment towards a sewing machine, I made something sturdy enough.
This was the starting version for the kid icarus case, but it made its shift to white, I am hoping to make a little something neat for the black version
This version is up for sale at 5$, It takes a very long time to make these because of measuring, and the gloss coating. (6 coatings front and back) 2-3 hours Until I feel its finished and ready.
I tried to keep shipping affordable as well worldwide
The zelda case was made available today, representing the rupee bag with a clay heart hanging from the side, it has no flat surface, its a heart container replica
Let me know what you guys think?
you can find them at this store Kafei Art
happy browsing and keep an eye out for the black kid icarus case, throughout the month Ill be creating more, hopefully a mario one soon
If zelda OoT didnt exist, I have doubt this story would exist.
Believe it or not Zelda Ocarina of time was a huge inspiration to this story. But not in a way you'd expect. OoT inspired me based on its mysterious pieces. The unicorn fountain I spent countless hours looking for, and The triforce apparently could be found in gerudo valley and various mysteries.
Sonata of the Gods works in a similar fashion, and if this story does reach its major goal. There will be hundreds of secret parts to it. Some of these may be mentioned in different chapters only briefly. With the books chapters being only a few short pages long, It enables me to decide on what scenes I should use or not.
So far there are approximately 3 different scenes I unfortunately got rid of completely, even though they do provide some interesting aspect to the story. I feel they are not important enough to keep, and they are only mentioned briefly.
When the first book is done, these scenes will be made available to read. A separate Easter egg book may also see release because of the many meanings that are hidden. Sort of a survival guide. The landscape is huge alone in the book, and even though its story mentions certain elements. its concepts provide a big background to the world. The huge amount of concept art is also a very important role. A lot have never seen release, but to provide importance. SOTG now has a new artist aiding in the concept design. His work can be found HERE.
I have been asked about international release for this book. I'm not too sure how it will work, I'm hoping to get it up on eBay for an international release.
The books first Chapter will be available for a public read in a few short weeks. I was told its risky, but the content that is available in chapter 1 is impossible to copy or determine its outcome. Its under copyright through deviantart. SOTG will also be getting its full copyright in 2012.
3 different comic pages are in the process of being created as to reflect some interest. The first release is called the two realities It will feature 2 styles of art in comic form, both manga and painting.
For its readers, SOTG is not a first person book, the first 9 chapters however require a slight first person narration as it explains what the background of the story is, and what happened over the course of 400 years. Afterwards the remainder will be in 3rd person.
When the first chapter is available for a public read, expect to see the link to it! Marzy was the first member on C3 to receive a first look at chapter 1. thanks for the positive feedback!
There are a lot of things i have wanted to make for myself as a Zelda far. Lately my fandom kinda going over the edge. So within a month i hope to have it ready first version Im preparing tonight as an idea.
A rupee wallet. Rupees will be solid, painted and shiny. The Wallace will look like one from Zelda.
Another thing also is Zelda chests with a heart container. Depending on how it goes i might put a little bonus item.
So if anyone is interest in anything in particular or suggestions let me know
I ended up going on vacation the last week to a resort in mexico, and they have painting booths available. So I painted something zelda related. Asked for a blank plate, and drew out the design while keeping it in the Mexican style. So enjoy the pictures of this zelda windwaker plate (15 hours)
its a very small preview, but this creature is very unique, and you wont see it coming undergoing its final design at last. The Alatolian
fire creatures are cool
This underwent its final design, originally giant golems to a more bat like creature. This race is anything but good, involved in slavery and has very good senses in terms of being hidden. These creatures cannot see and use their ears to find their pray. the metal heads allow them to attack head on in flight and on ground. their claws allowed them to carve virtually anything.
Their are only 2 flying races in the world, this one being much more scarce as they travel alone when out.
With 8 races in the world, I guess this covers one I did have to keep out some information as it is a bit vital. Expect to see another one soon
Im preping the final design for the light race in sonata of the Gods. Im not going to lie, but to create over 10 unique races for a book is insanely hard...
This one I started 2 days ago, Im experimenting with custom shapes and realism
I know a lot of you have been interested in my art (thanks for all the support) my book been very heavy in terms of being under wraps. it first started about 10 years ago, in between 2001-2.
It started basically being something I wanted to be original. Which led to the 10 years worth of work on the storyboard. Even to today its still changing (forced many rewrites)
Before the story wasn't originally about the end of a world. It was going to be about a few people who save the world from a very evil God. However because afterwards, I would have loved to continue this story after the evil Gods defeat, there is nothing more powerful than a god, and it would simply be uninteresting.
This resulted in the change. That the characters do not win the war and the world ends. The story is focused around the characters who attempt to save the inevitable, and what made the events that occur in this final year a legend. The world only existed for 852 years, and there are 8 races of different species in a racist conflict.
There is basically two Gods, the God of life and the God of death who was born in a different way. The dark God eventually was sealed away, however before he was sealed. He got rid of the balance in the world by creating a new world to set things off.
The world called Aria became Lightanea and the other world became known as Darkendory. While one flourishes the other will suffer. Darkendory soon faces a war against Lightanea, and loses the battle.
As the story goes, an immortal (Nairotan) of Darkendory that is at the final brink of existence goes to Lightanea in attempt to bring survivors over. With the idea hiding in enemy grounds would be safer.
Nairotan soon learns that this world is also on a brink of extinction.
(Still working on this picture)
The story features three main characters who meet early on. Nairotan, a human who was born immortal, Aque, a creature of another race who was banished, and Camny, a preist who suffers from Amnesia only remembering 3 years of his life.
I have sent this off to people editting it, they sent it back saying the story gets you hooked on the first page. So that's some good news.
The first book is called Sonata of the Gods: The beginning of the End
I would have posted sooner, but my computer suffered a massive virus attack (I won!)
Started this within the last few minutes. But its kinda what this story is a bit about in a way. It'll have one of the main characters standing in the picture as the sun is setting. The sky is done
I did recycle from my other picture.
Im hoping that this picture will be impressive. I had some feedback based on the stories progress from some people editing. it was more positive than I had imagined
