So, I've finally been offered a job doing what I'm good at, after 9 months of people turning me down. I'm happy.
You won't see me as much though, it's a 9-5 jobbie. Feel sad
It is my 19th birthday today, which means it is your duty to wish me happy birthday and give me stars. ^^
Gift-wise it was quite good, I got some crappy jewelery, some perfume and a purse with lots of money in it. Most of the money went on xmas pressies but I did manage to get meself Project Gotham Racing 4. So I is happy.
Our resident psycopath, Lightmare, has started up his own gaming blog. His rants are quite entertaining to read. Go check it out.
And he got me to post this so he wouldn't sound like he has a big head. Go figure

As you may or may not be aware, it was my 18th birthday on Thursday, and it was awesome. I finally got a DS Lite and I have fallen absolutely in love with it. I got Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and Tetris DS, both of which are superly addictive.
Today I also bought Pokemon Link ('cause I'm a Pokemon whore) and Metroid Prime Hunters for Lightmare. He's currently hogging my DS so I haven't had chance to play it. But it looks amazing. I never knew the DS could pack out such pretty graphics. I'm also getting New Super Mario Bros at Christmas, so I have lots of wonderful quality gaming ahead.
My party was awesome. Lightmare brought his Wii to my house and all 6 of us played some multiplayer Wii Sports and Play (not at the same time though ). There was also much Wario Ware-ing and much booze. Everyone crashed out eventually though. Lightweights.
Must go. Tetris is calling.
So me and Lightmare were at the midnight launch of the Wii, which had surprisingly little people there. About 30, I reckon, and only about 15 were getting a Wii. About 7 were our friends just along for the ride
It's so small and cute and sexy. I was all ready for this imposing console and then it was... about the same size as three game cases stacked. How they fit so much into a console that big I'll never know. And I love the controller and nunchaku!
We've played Wii Sports which is pretty awesome and the boxing really gave my arms a workout! It also has a feature which keeps track of your fitness... great for people who want to lose weight
Lightmare's playing Red Steel now and he says it's better than he expected. So that's pretty damn good then. I'm waiting for my turn, and then we'll be doing the Zelda thing.
It's so bloody awesome and we'll be staying up all night playing... lord knows how we'll be staying awake during college tomorrow
I love the month of December. Coldness aside, it has my birthday, Christmas... and this time, the release of the Wii too. Despite not actually getting one this month, I know that I'll play one on release day anyway. And I'm rather excited, which I think is understandable
Anyway, I have a new game today, Summon Night: Swordcraft Story 2, and having played it for a while, the conclusion is: awesome. I've written a review of it, you can find it Here . Leave a comment, you know you want to... <.<
Anyway, back to the insomnia and playing gamey-ness.
