SoulCalibur II HD Online

Damn, the online sounds a bit disappointing - shame really - as it's the only real reason to get this again aside from a few improved polys.

And no Japanese voices? Madness.

Still, the original cast (with the exception of Hwang - Though I guess, Assassin), is >>>> Soul Crap 5.

It's so poor. You don't add 'Online' to the title to get people hyped up to play such a great game online at long last, then half-arse it. Really seems like a cash-grab tbh, and it'll disappoint a lot of fans. Bloody disappointed me, anyway.

No JP voices, either! Yeah, massive disappointment. Some of the VA is so corny and crap.

But great to play with some of my favourites again. Couldn't believe the lack of Seong Mi-na in SCV.

I do hope they HDify SCIII because that also had a brilliant single-player mode. Just put some effort into the online next time!

I suppose it's a slight comfort to know that the online would have been half-assed anyway if there was a Wii U version with Link in it but still, how could they screw this up so badly? I love this game to death but I don't know anyone who'd regularly want to play against me. All I needed was proper netcode, stable matches and a private lobby that acts like the local versus mode with an option to change match rules without setting it up again. Heck, I would have paid full retail price for it! Definitely one of my biggest disappointments in recent memory, it's, quite frankly, an insult to this wonderful game.
