Chrono Trigger, Mana, SaGa and More for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy DLC on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Continuing the theme of releasing non-Final Fantasy soundtracks as DLC for Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call, Square Enix will be offering music downloads of more games gone by.

Soundtracks from Chrono Trigger, Secret of Mana, SaGa Frontier and more will be available in Japan as DLC, with each tune costing 150 yen.

The following is the list of new download content:

Final Fantasy XIV - Ultimate Fantasy (BMS)
Final Fantasy XIV - Fate (BMS)
Final Fantasy Type-0 - Zero (BMS)
Romancing SaGa 2 - Opening Title (BMS)
Romancing SaGa - Passionate Rhythm (BMS)
SaGa Frontier - Battle #4 (BMS)
Secret of Mana - Meridian Dance (BMS)
Chrono Trigger - Chrono Trigger (BMS)

The two FFXIV tracks are free between December 24th and January 6th.

Square Enix has already brought out Bravely Default DLC for Theatrhythm FFCC in Japan, but it has yet to be released in the West.

Yup, this is what I expected. Release music for these games as DLC in TFF and possibly TDQ. Best way.

Still waiting on that Bravely Default and Krile DLC over here, Square. Sort it out.

Only one Chrono Trigger track... Smilie

Was hoping there was going to be a few. Any chance they'll release more in the future?

I purchased the game today after hearing that the DLC would have Chrono Triggers music.

More than likely eventually. Dunno what SE is playing at, taking the piss not giving us the last DLC character and waiting on the Bravely DLC.

It's a bit odd it's only one CT track, but perhaps testing the waters before they do others. They missed a trick not doing any special FF14 DLC for its anniversary, but the two free new ones soften that downer.

Shouldn't have to wait long for it here really, but you just don't bloody know with these guys.

Wonder what the eta is for this to come state side & grace the UK?

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
