After watching people stabbing and scratching the DS lower screen, did anyone see the marks on it?

I am quite corncered that damages are going to be made to the screen!

Anyone else worried?

I've not seen the DVD (will ina few days) But id imgagine if you stab and scratch any portable games machines screen you are bound to leave marks The DS also folds so it has protection. I imagine the PSP would have roughly the same durability and withoua fold down screen wouldnt fare so well. Dont worry lee its all gonna be ok! ( im not a fanboy Smilie )
I would worry about the DS looking pug ugly and people turning away in horror from it.

Nope, its tough stuff, not like a GBA screen. Apparently the only way you can damage it is if you madly rampage it and attack it with the stylus to such a degree that you actually imprint into it, which is very hard. Someone at E3 was voicing their worries and I think Nintendo said they had realised the issue and were sure there would be no problems. Smilie

I dunno, of course I have read bits about it, but was quite shocked when the light hit it and showed the marks on it!

I think they were just smudges, that could be wiped off.

Don't forget, those were just prototype models, I think they said they were using even stronger material for the official release. But I could be wrong about that. But another thing to consider is that at E3 there were ALOT of people using each of the models, some careful, some not, your personal DS will probably not cop that much abuse. Unless of course you are very wreckless with your products, but if that's the case you got more things to worry about then marking your screen with the Stylus.

Arkyris.

Dont worry I got my keys at the ready! of course not on my own DS a friends obviously Smilie
I wouldnt worry too much again Lee Nintndo wont release a console that is designed to be TOUCHED and not make it durable Smilie

They said the touch screen would have a more durable covering. I don't think there will be bad problems. If they had to, nintendo would probably make that screen replaceable. Smilie
No worries

I'm just worring about the whole GBA problem with the back light.

But surely they can't make the same mistake again?
