Guys, there's a system update already. Brings along an awesome 3D video to try out with the screen.

No, just when I switch to camera in photos and AR, Face Raiders seems to work a bit. It looks like the basic Firmware wasn't loaded properly. I won't be without a 3DS while I wait for a new one, I have to send in this one by the 25th of next month. I'll have a new one by the 29th of this one.

I am pissed, but it's not too bad, like I said everything else works fine. I am pissed that it's pointless making connections. I'm also concerned I might lose my username.(?)

Downloaded the video earlier, it looks awesome.

^__^ I've scanned Marzy and Phoenixus into mine.

I'll upload mine later, it scans it bloody quickly though! Pretty neat. Though I think it would of been as easy to transfer Mii's when you register your mates... Though we could get some really cool ones this way!

This came out a bit rubbish, due to the 3DS not picking up unnatural light up very well. I liked the idea though, so decided to take a photo of it.

Just got Ikana's, Marzy's and Phoenixus' Miis. Will post mine later or tomorrow.

Sorry about your problems. I thought I was going to have to take mine back too - anything to do with AR and taking photos looked WAY off. Managed to get it working fine later though, I think it was a lighting issue. Much relief.

How does this adding mii thing work? I haven't really heard anything about it, can someone explain? xD

I've scanned everyone's QR code in this thread. Now absorb mine :

What I've noticed is that everyone's favourite colour is blue. It's only my Mii and Marzy's Mii that are different colours. XD

Also here is Reggie's Mii, just make sure your 3DS's body is ready before scanning it =3

I have a question regarding SpotPass:
Is it enabled automatically for all games that support it?

I tried looking through the menus of Nintendogs + Cats and I couldn't see any option to enable/disable SpotPass. I know it supports SpotPass, I'm just not too sure about how I go about taking advantage of that feature.

If you go to Settings in the 3DS main menu, then Data Management, then Streetpass management, it'll show you a list of titles with Streetpass that you can turn on and off.

EDIT: Oh wait, Spotpass, not Streetpass? I have no idea about Spotpass, the only Spotpass thing I've seen on my 3DS is the notifications. I guess it's automatic once the game is in your library?

First impressions:
- It hurt my eyes when I first played my brother's late last night
- Monkey Ball holds your hand, despite the analogue making it easier to control than any Monkey Ball game in recent years, it's insultingly easy, but probably a tad better than Step & Roll.
- Disappointed in the loss of quality playing DS titles
- The analogue is amazing holy shit, Nintendo are always on top of their game when it comes to sticks huh?
- Slightly disappointed that analogue doesn't give 3D DS games true analogue control, though I never truly believed that it would.
- The Mii and online features already seem pretty robust in comparison to other Nintendo consoles, me likey so far.
- The music for menus is infinitely less annoying than the Wii's, kinda "Mario-y" in a way, very nice tracks.
- The 3D works. Without glasses. Impressive, no? Even though they kept saying it. It does seem hard to keep it in focus at times though.
- Console is sexy as fuck.

That's what I was thinking. There wasn't anything helpful in the Operations Manual, either. So I'm guessing it is just automatic. Can anyone confirm this?

@Superlink - You can play DS titles in their original resolution if you hold start+select as you load them. They're really small but they look a little better. I added you btw.
