I'm really enjoying the anime version. With the music and locations, it really feels like the game. Unfortunately it'll soon catch up to where I left off on the game.

You might want to remedy that then Angus. Smilie

Anyways, episode 4. Glad to see my fave character will be predominantly featured from here on out. Smilie

Well, glad to end my video updates on a high note, this episode is awesome. Smilie

I'll be sticking the vid links in my sig from now on. Smilie

Persona 4 stage adaptation.

lol, really?

Still need to watch the last couple of episodes of the anime too...

That's the thing, watching it makes me really want to play it again. But my PS2 is at home, and even if I did shell out for a PS2 and a copy of the game here I'd have so much trouble understanding most of the Japanese (would be good practice though...).

Also thanks for the links! Smilie I was watching Horrible Subs versions but they seemed to have stopped releasing them.

Fit.

Awesome how they all actually look like the real characters.

Right, update.

Oh HELL YES. Smilie

Also, this is interesting;

Now, we’re only just announcing Persona 4 Arena today so we’re not quite ready to talk about EVERYTHING you can expect when the game releases in August, but we CAN confirm new console-exclusive Story and Online modes. For the Story mode"before you bombard us with questions" YES, we’re doing everything possible to retain the full English voice cast from Persona 3 and 4, and no, we’re not yet able to confirm or deny whether the original Japanese voice track will be included as well.

Even if this only gets to the US, I can import it for the PS3. Can't wait. Smilie

Oh hell yes. Smilie

Not too keen on that new Teddie voice, but can't wait to get this game myself. Looking great. Smilie

I'm really annoyed and kind of upset that Teddie's VA was replaced! Dave Wittenburg was amazing my fav Teddie VA ever, I mean I LIKE Teddie's new VA as a VA.. but he's not very good at Teddie.

Apparently many of the VAs have been replaced it's a huge shame, I just hope Troy Baker stays as Kanji.

I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YUKIKO'S HOMURA COSTUME.
EDIT:

yes omfg I found it

In the second half Yukiko is wearing Homura's outfit *v*

Suppose I could import it if I really wanted to.
The wait for Atlus games in Europe has been beyond ridiculous lately.

Much earlier than I expected! But, I guess it's only the new bits that needed translating, anyway. If it was P5, it could easily have been a year's wait after Japan.

Hopefully the European release takes a bit longer, I'd really like Vita to have a price drop and/or revision before then.

Sucks I have to get whole new hardware for just one game, but Golden will definitely be worth it. ^^

Well, I'll be doing the same thing if Type-0 is announced as Vita-exclusive outside Japan. Ideally, yes, a bit of a price drop would be good for if that time comes, too.

Finally finished P4. Even before I had finished it it was one of my fave ever games. Finishing it cements it. Can finally start to take an interest in P4A now.

Naoto is getting a story episode, so I'll have to read that eventually (assuming it gets a translation). Don't know if other characters will get one.

P4G's new opening...

Unexpected. Was waiting for the normal opening theme to kick in at the start, but... that was different.

P4A's JP box.

Would prefer more characters on the front, too, tbh. Hope to god Rise is playable.

Hmm, kinda kooky. They'll probably keep the original opening as well like with Persona 3 Portable, so I don't mind this one at all. ^^

You definitely finished it right to the end right? Beaten both

I beat the former but not the latter, will save that honour for Golden. Smilie

Was thinking they would keep the old opening, too. If they did that for P3, likely will happen again.

Defeated I. Haven't fought M.

For M, isn't the only way you can fight her through a New Game +? I haven't the time to replay it so I just ended up reading what she had to say prior to and after her fight online. Whether I'll end up doing two runs of the P4G version (if I get it), I don't know. Shame you can't transfer your PS2 save over!

Lost my New Game plus save file when my PS3 went dolaley, so can't answer that one, though I'd imagine so. Smilie

Quite surprised that Atlus haven't given the option of a female Protagonist in Golden, that went over well with P3 fans I recall. Would certainly help add more replay incentive.

I never got to fight M either, lost momentum in my second playthrough.. maybe during P4G I'll play it more, I do adore handheld gaming.

The new OP's theme isn't really that catchy, I'm kinda worried that composer's stuff is getting stale, maybe because he keeps being asked to rehash the P4 style. But OMFG the Hero's dance is FAB.

Only slightly related but I'm hoping to finally get stuck into P3P this weekend while I go to MCM Expo Smilie

EDIT: Also Rise isn't playable I don't think, but her abilities are much more substantial.

Good man, P3P is far better than FES purely due to the improvements it takes from P4 to the battle system. It's far quicker exploring and building Social Links too. Plus Yukari and Junpei are awesome. Smilie

...Shame about the lesser presentation though, the lack of CG Cutscenes in-game is a big loss. I hope Golden suffers no such admissions.

They already confirmed P4G wouldn't be watered down at all, that's also something that annoys me about P3P.

About Rise, were you talking about her not being playable in Arena? That's what I was referring to. If she isn't...that's poor.

For fuck's sake. Just read that she isn't playable. Terrible.

On a related note, Catherine is one of the strangest yet awesome games I've ever played. Does everything this developer touch turn to gold? Smilie

Yeah, beat it last night. Another of my new faves this gen.

P4 Arena is playable at MCM today. Hope it is at Manchester, too.
