Not sure if these have been mentioned but they definitely deserve your money.

Eternal Darkness
Battalion Wars
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (although this one is not to everybody's tastes)
Prince of Persia series - The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones (The Two Thrones is out on Wii too, but I don't know whether it's better)

If you're going for the cream of the crop then I'd forget about MGS: Twin Snakes. It's more of a storyline than an actual game. It's quite enjoyable to play through once and certainly has some strengths, but it's short and really lacks replay value.

Plus it's not that cheap to obtain, even now. So unless money's burning a hole in your pocket, I'd leave it out. Smilie

I have to agree. Wait for the compilation of all the games and MGOnline on PSN when MGS4 launches.

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is one of the best games ever. A supremely elegant exposition of a wonderful idea. The other games are appalling travesties that show just what happens when companies pander to markets and can't leave well enough alone.

I have never played it Smilie

For shame. It's one of the few games that truly has a script and plot comparable to films. If they producers of the forthcoming movie stick closely to the ideas and tone of Sands of Time, it should be a great film. Also, the environmental puzzles are great.

The fighting really just serves to break up the puzzles, and allow you to fill up on that all important sand of time. The focus on fighting was another one of the fuck ups in the sequels.

Personally, I love giving myself little challenges in the game. Once you've played through a few times, try completing it without dying or using the sands once.

Only downside: the final boss (one of only two in the game) is unadulterated crap. A major let down after the lovely plot twist. Still, it's a great ending.

Can brawl anytime now.....if you want an easy win
BOMBERMAN code: 2879 2176 8600, or just find me in a random match I think it might be time for Newspapers to look over their sponsorship contracts...

Know what that means? That means you should get Bomberman Story DS or Bomberman Land Touch 2! so you can play me on WiFi.

Seriously. NOONE has that game. Smilie

I rented it a while back and thought it was terrible. It just felt really clunky. Same with Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.

who are you guys? - I would expect almost all of you to be up on this one:

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem

...get that. ASAP.

I was looking for that one..can't believe hardly anyone mentioned it. Well and also Windwaker, monkey ball, Paper Mario, really enjoyed them all.

Here are some I enjoyed:

-Chibi-Robo!
-Tales of Symphonia
-Baten Kaitos (turn off the voice acting though. It\'s awful)
-Baten Kaitos Origins
-Donkey Konga 1 and 2 (I think 2 is better)

I'd rather pull my pubes out of my scrotum than play that game.

I was searching around on Ebay/Marketplace and others for the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess yesterday. Anybody want to sell me their version?

You will find it online but for a very very expensive price. It was rare for the GameCube. Keep searching you might find a good deal.

Posting in this thread has inspired me to dig out Starfox Adventures again.. I got to the ice mountain to save Prince Tricky, and my RBG cable fucked up. Great, that's more cash going out unnecessarily.
