Well its not really surprising, DS has everything. Great games, a huge demographic, a massive and diverse libary, GBA compatibillity and brilliant asthetics. This along with a great price point and a truly unique take on handhelds the DS truly is a juggernaught of epic proportions that doesnt look like its ever going to slow down.

That suggests that the DS is outselling the PSP by about 3-1! (let's say 10% market share for GBA and others, leaving 22% for the PSP).

DS has been selling pervertedly well throughout its lifetime. This has to be Nintendo's second-biggest success story ever (from the commercial point of view).

Screwing the rules since 1989.

The DS truly has been a phenomena for Nintendo. If its massive success continues it will become the best selling gaming machine ever. That is unless Nintendo ends its life early with "Gameboy DS 2 ADVANCE!". Smilie

68% Smilie WOW awsome news!! The GBA in UK is stil pretty huge so i wonder how much market share the GBA has?!?!

I see all these people insulting the Nintendo corporation because of the lack of mature content. Yet there is something about Nintendo (at least their games) that strikes a certain unadulterated feeling of joy!!!  Pokemon Y - 1048-9263-5562

3m sold in the UK, and 11m in Europe, so it take Germany or maybe France are better markets for the DS.

Mike Gee of iZINE said, "...The Verve, as he [Richard Ashcroft] promised, had become the greatest band in the world. Most of the critics agreed with him. Most paid due homage. The Verve were no longer the question mark or the clich. They were the statement and the definition."

Must be because i bought one! Nintendo should thank me...

The DS does have a large range of quality titles, good to see it's doing so well. Now Nintendo have to do that with th Wii.

Why is the PSP still selling? I don't understand this...
