The first one was meant to pretty awful - I cannot fathom why adding Wi-Fi would make it better. I only play RPGs for the bits between the dungeons.

perhaps they put about $10 worth of gameplay into the game, stuck pokemon on the box and are gonna make millions on another absolutely fucking shite pokemon "rpg" mystery dungeon game, where theres no mysterys or dungeons whatso ever
