Absolutely. I would have laid money on a renaming, but I've been trying to think of what would be suitable. This hits the nail on the head! Well done Square Enix for helping boost this game's profile already Smilie

If the game gets great reviews and deserves great sales then kudos to SE.

They were probably a tad dissapointed with the first Chocobo game on the DS

You mean with how this game performed in Japan? It's currently in what, its fourth week and has been getting slightly stronger sales each week. It's probably over 100,000 or near enough now.

I reckon it can perhaps make 200,000 eventually, which would be good for a new franchise on the DS in Japan Smilie

Is Chobobo broke 100k, then that is very good for a new franchise.

I thought it was around 35k

To be honest, working out rought calculations...Three weeks ago it had 53,000 units sold and the past two weeks were perhaps around the 10,000 mark each. So maybe it's currently at about 75,000.

Thought it may end up higher, since the PSone Chocobo Mysterious Dungeon managed to break a million Smilie

Hopefully the US will give it more of a chance.
