Some crazy linage there, sooo mad. We'd probably only have something like that here for home console launches, and it would probably never go as long as 500!

I love how they have to call the police to just to keep order! It shows how many people love the DS.

150,000 units of the Black DS Lite were shipped and it appears that ALL sold out! How amazing is that? Couple this with the sales of regular DS Lites (roughly another 120,000), the power of FFIII and the new releases of Super Mecha MG and Tingle...and you've got one hell of a busy chart come Wednesday night!

As a proud owner of a Black DS lite, I can understand why they're creating such a fuss over in Japan. They simply rock! In terms of the lighting, the Lites have backlit screens that are far superior to the standard DS and even the PSP to the point that they rival some tv screens They're snazzier looking too.
And software wise I haven't seen such varied versatile and totally cool games at affordable prices on any handheld before it. i really can't wait to see how well Tingle and Final Fantsy III do over here in the UK. It would be interesting to see if Japan and other major regions of the gaming world will go "ga ga " for Wii as they have for the DS. If Nintendo can keep up the momentum with a steady flow of decent games with the AAA titles released at the right periods, then come late October onwards, we might be seeing this sort of thing happen again, and again and again.:lol

Not to mention NSMB, BT, BT2, ACWW, MArio Hoops, Tetris, English Training, Rune Factory and Pokemon is still to come.
