DOA 3 on gamecube

recently many gamecube games have come to gamecube, wreckless and a few others. anyway, jet set radio future and doa 3 may be coming to gc, im not bothered as doa 3 was poor. have you lot heard anything more on this?

No but fighting games dont appeal to me much and i have Jet Set Radio Future on Xbox.

I don't mind if we get DOA3, but it seems unlikely as it is a top XBOX game (note the 'XBOX' in the sentence).

Yeah and both games have "Xbox only" on them so i doubt that they will come to other consoles.

You're not dumb, it hasn't been on a Ninty console that's probably why you haven't heard of it...

It stands for Dead Or Alive 3, which is a beat 'em up with a ...er...twist...

DOA3 is ok for about 10 minutes then it gets boring, give me Street Fighter 2 Turbo over this anyday.

JSRF is not as good as the original JSR on the dreamcast IMHO.

Also thought that JSR should have got a mention in the gaming landmarks section as it was the real first cel shaded game to be popular(if not the first) and lets not forget that Zelda is cel shaded, so a little nod of respect to JSR.

i have DOA 2 on PS2 and it sucks..

you have 3 types of moves

counters
throws
combos//hits

IT'S A DAMN SUPED UP GAME OF PAPER/SCISERS//STONE

i'm not joking... it's exactly the same, just a suped up version thats all... so boring

rock paper scissors rocks! but then doa 3 sucks i have to agree. there hasn't been a good beat 'em up since super street fighter and mortal combat (excluding super smash bros.)

I Liked it on the ps2 for about 5 minutes, but it get boring after a while, but still, getting it would piss off the xbox owners, and im sure we can all agree thats worth it

Yup, I don't think they have the license or anything. But, it'll probably be avalible, I hope, multiformat wise when the next "next generation" consoles hit the market.

Yeah but Splinter Cell doesn't have Xbox only on it has it!

I'm sure it did when it was first released...Hmm, I noticed it's not got in on newer copies.

Oh, and the now defunctGame Media had an article about it being only on Xbox when it was released.

Anyway, it doesn't matter...

describing any of the DOA series as poor,in my opinion, is just damn wrong
its an amazing beat em up that came out of no where and challenged the top games i.e. teken , soul blade... and its not just another copy
the counter system in doa2 was amazing along with a good tag team system and interactive landscapes
plus it just rocks!!!

screw doa, give me soul calibur with Link any day!

wouldn't mind a blast on jet set radio though

but nightfire came out and challenged TS2... see the connection here?

the huge lack of characters and play modes make doa an average fighter... but all fighters are good

All fighters are not good. Clay Fighter anyone? Exactly.

DOA is a class series, but I do prefer Virtua Fighter, Soul Calibur, Tekken, and Street Fighter myself...

Especially Street Fighter. I grew up with it, so it is probably my favourite beat 'em-up. I just need some money to buy a good one...

I played international karate + for months 3 players on the screen giving each other a right good kicking pure gaming magic, street fighter 2 is pure class IMPO, the new mortal combat looks very good and may convince me to buy a beat em up for the 1st time in years.

i loved soul blade so much i can't wait for soul calibur 2
