Despite strong sales for Persona Q, SEGA have reported a knock in profits this week.
For the financial period ending 30th June, SEGA confirmed that profits have dropped by 57.4% to ¥5.5 billion. However, revenue has rised year-on-year to ¥88.3 billion. Because of this, the company is estimating half-year losses to tally up to around ¥7 billion ($68 million).
The only title to be published by SEGA during the period was Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth, which sold around 250,000 units.
SEGA are anticipating a release for Sonic Boom and Alien Isolation this year. The company are banking on the 3DS for success, with 13 SKUs planned for the system this year, with an anticipated sales figure of around 2.27 million units.
