The latest edition of the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine have an image of Animal Crossing as their E3 promotion.
The magazine, reaching subscribers this morning, has various interesting tidbits that are said to appear in their E3 special next month - including 2 undisclosed action games for Wii.
Alongside the forthcoming reviews and gift promotions is a piece of Animal Crossing artwork accompanied by a short caption: "It's been a while! It's time to revisit an old friend. How's your village doing these days?"
With various lists and strong hints for Animal Crossing at E3, could this be the final push fans need for village antics on the Wii?
Thanks to C3 reader Marzy for the tip.

noneAC Wii will need to incorporate at least 75% of the ideas from the various AC Wii idea threads we've had to make me get it. I would provide linkage, but I can't be arsed. Could someone do the honours?

noneBeing realistic, the graphics can't be upped that much IF the game is a MMORPG since Nintendo will want online to be smooth. Sure, graphics will be better than the GC version, but not by much, which will allow for the CPU to be free to do calculations for the MMORPG and Voice Chat.
Umm you realise the GC version was basically the n64 one on a higher reso? They can do a lot better.

noneI never really got into Animal Crossing, but it's obvious that it could be another one of the Big N's "bridge" titles if they do things right.
Don't quote me on this, but it seems like this could be a title with the right amount of depth for all gamers, depending on how they like to play.

RobboAnimal Crossing Wii will have the same sort of visual enhancements as the Pokemon series (Blue/Red up to the DS games - basic).
I hope it goes back to the N64 way, i hated the DS version.
